NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING on April 9, 2015
The Pineywoods Groundwater Conservation District (PGCD) Board of Directors will receive public comments on proposed revisions to Rules 3.6, 5.4 and 5.6 at a public hearing set for 1:00 p.m., April 9, 2015, at the Kurth Lake Lodge in Angelina County.
The directors will hold their regular monthly meeting immediately following the conclusion of the public hearing.
Rule changes to be considered:
- Page 8, Rule 3.6 – Addition to rule concerning time limit set for plugging rig supply wells for oil and gas exploration.
- Page 12, Section 5.4 Add item (l) to Section 5.4 exempting non-exempt agricultural wells from rules (a) through (k).
- Page 13, Section 5.6 – Add statement at beginning of paragraph concerning authority granted to General Manager to approve permit applications received by the District.
No other revisions to the PGCD rules shall be considered at this time.
Written comments regarding the proposed revisions to the rules must be received at the PGCD office, 202 E. Pilar St., Room 134, Nacogdoches, Texas no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015.They may also be submitted by email to [email protected].
